‘Smart’ Fire Extinguishers

Last week at the MPG meeting we met Gary Jacques from Blackthorn Fire. Gary has invented a self-servicing fire extinguisher, saving the hefty cost of five yearly maintenance contracts and allowing on-site Concierge and Caretakers to monitor the performance of the extinguishers and associated equipment. 

Stephen Bowden and our building management partner, Mike Carey from O’Connor Bowden Rebloom are evaluating how and when ‘Smart’ extinguishers can be installed at existing and future buildings and developments we manage.
